What Happened at Work?

Narration involves explaining events in the order that they happened. Pretend that you are currently working in your chosen field. Your supervisor is leaving early for the day and is leaving things in your capable hands. He asks you to write a brief report about the day's events before going home for the evening. Provide a small portion of that report.

Using Examples

Writing using illustration means using specific examples to clarify a point. We use examples every day. When discussing your day with a friend, you use examples to make your story more interesting and vivid. There are many ways to use examples in your writing: you can use a series of examples or an extended example.
